Looking for bathtub reglazing in Redondo Beach? Adamov Reglazing restores porcelain, cast iron, fiberglass, and acrylic tubs across Redondo Beach and the South Bay — ready to use in about 7 hours, backed by a 4-year warranty, with no hidden costs. Reglazing instead of replacing saves thousands of dollars and days of demolition mess.
Redondo Beach runs from older homes and beach cottages to post-war tracts and newer townhomes, so we see original porcelain and cast iron tubs alongside fiberglass and acrylic units. In a lot of these bathrooms the tub is set into tile, which means a replacement takes the surround with it — one of the main reasons refinishing makes sense here.
We handle:
Here’s a reglazing job we completed in Redondo Beach. The tub was in great shape overall — a couple of stains on the bottom and a small chip on the edge were the only issues.
We started with a deep cleaning to clear the soap film, mineral deposits, and buildup that collects over the years, and to lift what would come off the stained areas. Then we filled the chip with fiberglass putty and brought it flush with the surrounding surface. Even a small chip has to be filled and leveled rather than sprayed over — a low spot shows plainly under a fresh coat of bright white, and on the edge of a tub it’s right where your hand and eye land.
Next we ran fresh caulk all the way around the top of the tub, then masked the whole room with masking paper and plastic film so no overspray could settle anywhere it shouldn’t.
Then the coating went on in two stages. First an epoxy primer, which seals the surface and gives the topcoat a uniform base — it also helps even out minor imperfections underneath, so what’s left of an old stain doesn’t read through the finish. Over that, the polyurethane coating, which is what provides the gloss and the durability to handle daily use, hot water, and regular cleaning without dulling.
The tub came out smooth and bright, with the stains and the chip gone and a finish that looks like it came from the factory.
Every job finishes the same way: we hand over a post-care kit and our cleaning recommendations, so you know exactly how to keep the finish looking sharp.
This job was in Redondo Beach, and we cover the neighboring cities just as easily — Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Torrance, El Segundo, and Palos Verdes Estates.
