Looking for bathtub reglazing in Glendora? Adamov Reglazing restores porcelain, cast iron, fiberglass, and acrylic tubs across Glendora and the San Gabriel Valley — ready to use in about 7 hours, backed by a 4-year warranty, with no hidden costs. Reglazing instead of replacing saves thousands of dollars and days of demolition mess.
A lot of Glendora’s neighborhoods went up in the 1960s through the 1980s, and plenty of those bathrooms still have their original tubs — including the colored porcelain that was standard at the time. Pink, almond, pale blue, avocado: all popular then, all dating a bathroom now. The tubs themselves are usually in good shape, which is exactly why reglazing makes sense here.
We handle:
Just completed the reglazing of a porcelain tub in Glendora, and this one wasn’t about damage at all. The homeowner simply didn’t like the pink.
Pink tubs were everywhere in the seventies and eighties, and the ones still in place are often in perfectly good condition — solid porcelain, no cracks, nothing wrong with them as fixtures. That’s what makes these jobs different from most of our work. There’s nothing to fix. The question isn’t whether the tub can be saved, it’s whether you have to live with a color you chose nothing about, and the answer is no.
Put next to the alternative, it’s an easy call. Replacing a sound tub over its color means demolition, a plumber, tile work to close the wall back up, and days without a bathroom — all to end up with a fixture that’s very likely made to a lower standard than the one you took out. Reglazing changes the color and leaves everything else exactly where it is.
This tub had very little damage, so the work went straight into surface prep. We started with a deep cleaning to clear the soap film and buildup that collects over decades, since a coating bonds to the surface itself and not to what’s sitting on it. We pulled the old caulk out from around the tub and ran a fresh bead all the way around before spraying, so the new caulk would be coated along with the surface and the seam would come out continuous instead of sitting on top of the finish as a separate line.
Then we masked the whole room, as always, to keep overspray off the walls, fixtures, and floor, and sprayed the bright white finish in even coats.
The change was the whole point, and it delivered. A pink tub that had been dating the bathroom for decades came out bright, glossy white — and the customer finally had a tub he was happy to look at.
Every job finishes the same way: we hand over a post-care kit and our cleaning recommendations, so you know exactly how to keep the finish looking sharp.
This job was in Glendora, and we cover the neighboring cities just as easily — Azusa, Covina, San Dimas, La Verne, and Claremont.
If your tub is sound but stuck in a color you’ve never liked, that’s reason enough to call. (310) 401-4491 — we’ll give you an honest estimate, and tell you straight if reglazing isn’t the right move.
