Looking for bathtub reglazing in Rancho Cucamonga? Adamov Reglazing restores fiberglass, acrylic, porcelain, and cast iron tubs across Rancho Cucamonga and the Inland Empire — ready to use in about 7 hours, backed by a 4-year warranty, with no hidden costs. Reglazing instead of replacing saves thousands of dollars and days of demolition mess.
We handle:
If your home went up during the building boom, you’ve almost certainly got the same one-piece fiberglass tub-and-shower combo as half the neighborhood. They’re everywhere out here — builder-grade, installed by the thousands — and they all reach the same point after years of family use: the finish dulls, the textured floor gets grimy, and the whole unit starts to look dated. The good news is that point is a fix, not a replacement.
We’ve refinished a great many of these, and the combo on this job was a textbook example — structurally fine, but the finish dulled across both the tub and the walls and grime worked down into the textured bottom. Because a one-piece unit is all one continuous surface, that tiredness drags the entire thing down at once.
The textured floor is the part that takes real work, so we scrubbed it out first, clearing the dirt and soap film trapped in the anti-slip pattern where ordinary cleaning never reaches. Then a deep clean of the full enclosure, and a light sanding over everything to take the gloss off and give the coating a base to grip. The old caulk came out, fresh caulk went in to seal the seams against water getting behind them, and after masking the bathroom and setting up ventilation, we primed the fiberglass and sprayed several coats of bright white.
A dull, dated unit came back bright, smooth, and clean — reading like a fresh install, without any demolition. That last part is the whole appeal of refinishing a combo. Replacing one of these one-piece units means tearing into the surrounding walls and fitting a bulky new unit into framing that doesn’t always cooperate. Reglazing leaves the rest of the bathroom untouched.
Because these units are so widespread out here, here’s something a lot of owners don’t think to ask: the same process can update the color, not just the shine. If your combo is a dated tone you’ve never liked, we can bring it to bright white in the same visit — no tearing out a sound one-piece unit just to change its look.
Living with it afterward is easy. The smooth, sealed surface wipes clean and shrugs off the soap scum that worn fiberglass holds onto — just keep the harsh abrasives off it and the bright white stays sharp for years. The finish dries in roughly seven hours, so the combo is usually back in use the same day rather than out of service while you wait.
Every job finishes the same way: we hand over a post-care kit and our cleaning recommendations, so you know exactly how to keep the finish looking sharp. The work is backed by our 4-year warranty.
This job was in Rancho Cucamonga, and we cover the neighboring cities just as easily — Upland, Ontario, Fontana, Claremont, and Alta Loma.
If your builder-grade combo has gone dingy, restoring it beats replacing it on cost and on hassle both. Want to see how one of these units comes out? Ask and we’ll share before-and-after photos from similar jobs.
