I made the drive up to Wrightwood for a tub-and-shower combo in a cabin that gets rented out through ski season. The unit was structurally fine, but it looked the part of a hard-used mountain rental — the finish dulled across the tub and surround, grime ground into the textured floor, and the caulk cracked and ready for replacing. The owner wanted it sharp for guests but didn’t want the place torn up or sitting empty while a new unit got hauled up the mountain.

After masking the bathroom and setting up ventilation, I primed the fiberglass and sprayed several coats of bright white.
The dull, dated unit came back bright, smooth, and clean, reading like a fresh install — and nobody had to drag a new combo up the hill to get there.
